I believe that dreams come true, because mine do. I was nurturing thought of meeting Koka Tsikhelashvili, Georgian painter, for about 3 months. I was dreaming I would see his paintings alive and I did. It turned out that my mom was a course mate of this incredibly talented man. Isn't it amazing?!
First of all I want to tell you what kind of person is Koka.
His eyes are very kind and loving, his arms are hard working, he himself is full of good energy and positive emotions. We laughed at his jokes and felt warmth coming from him. I am very grateful to know this person and to have an opportunity to talk to him.
Also I want to share with you my feelings towards his paintings.
When I walked into the room, where Koka put 3 of his paintings I was unable to control myself. I started examining every detail of every picture, trying to remember it. Suddenly I felt love, warmth in my chest and I almost burst into tears, but then decided to pull myself together and be strong. When I closely penetrated into the paintings and got my own insights I sat and just stared and stared and stared at them while my mom and my aunt were expressing their bright emotions. There was some chocolate on the table and I ate all of it without even noticing =).
His paintings take long time to paint (several months for only one painting), but when you come close to it you just realize how many layers and colours and how much work is put into one painting. Koka's taste is very exceptional and sophisticated. His pictures have indescribable energy and they captivate you.
My camera is unable to show exact colours and just trust me that these paintings are much more beautiful in person. Want to know your opinion my dear readers.
