And again our Parisian friend Djaba Diassamidze wearing Balenciaga silk Tbilisi scarf with light blue striped shirt and warm knitted jacket. Love.

When I first saw this scarf I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought I was dreaming. As I saw it online I thought it was some kind of a joke, but then investigated and found out that Nicolas Ghesquiere found this map in old Soviet Union records and decided to make a silk scarf out of it. It is 2007 men's fall winter collection. I love the color, the printing and of course the fact that this is the map of the city I was born in. I hope that maybe some day Balenciaga will redo this scarf in cashmere in bigger size. I would definitely get it.

Can you tell which one is Lanvin and which is Lanvin for H&M unless you know that it can be distinguished by color. The one on the left is worth 1,570 EUR and the ruby red is about 30 EUR. Is it fair? I would be angry if I bought something so pricey and found out that you can find something very similar for miserable price. Happy to have the ruby collar. Like it much more than the white one.

Oomph

Alaia is one of the all time best designers, knitted dresses are precious. Oomph Boots - crazy beautiful. Wanted to get one pair, but they didn't have my size in any store. Very sad. They give you incredible height and have this season it military look. Very sophisticated pony skin lace ups with coarse charm.

Wake Up. It's Lanvin for H&M day

I suppose that everybody who loves Lanvin and fashion has been to H&M today in UK. I saw so many happy people in the streets, they were walking with big smiles on their faces and big Lanvin <3 H&M bags. Everybody was rushing to get there very excited to buy items they already loved online. It is amazing how a tag with affordable price and famous brand can make people shining and pleased. Alber Elbaz is a wonderful designer, born in Morocco and grew up in Israel, he embodies all the heritage of his life in his collections. His imagination is an interesting point of view. Best organized collaboration yet. Great marketing campaign with lovely video that was seen by me over and over again, genius idea to give bloggers clothes before selling them in stores so people could cherish idea of purchasing these clothes for some time. Very nice charity event and ad on H&M web site.

When I entered the store I already knew what I wanted. One shoulder pink cocktail dress and gray fairytale dress. Red painted earrings and necklace. I loved men's collection a lot, suits were ravishing, even wanted to get one for me but they were too big.

Chanel Pop-Up

 Ah, I would love to be there. Chanel has just opened a pop-up store in New York, Jeffrey. Isn't it amazing ?! They recreated the beautiful feel of St. Tropez. The vibe of Cote D'Azur is there.  Sand, beach cabins, bright colors & of course cruise collection of more than 50 looks creates summer breeze atmosphere, this experience is very luring. The store will hold a celebration party on November 30th and will be open until January 4th.

New Edge

Dominic Jones is an English Jewelry designer, who launched his brand in 2008. This is not a one man company. It is a successful collaboration of Dominic with very beautiful Brazilian model Alice Dellal. This partnership is very punk influenced. I love this punk rock rings a lot. Think of getting one. If you click on the first photo it will take you their web site which is amazing. Alice is modeling and she is very impressive. Clicking on the last photo will take you to net-a-porter where you can buy several pieces of this amazing brand.

Burlington Arcade was Britain's very first shopping Arcade. It is a very elegant and luxurious place for shopping in London. Crockett & Jones little 2 story boutique with the finest shoes both for men and women is a family business. The company prides itself on maintaining the highest standard of craftsmanship and contemporary design for world markets. I fell in love with their slippers which were supposed to be worn at home by royal families in the past. Bought a pair of black ones with beautiful pattern and will definitely go for more in future. They take individual orders for this slippers, you can order almost any pattern and embroidery in various colors. It takes about 6 weeks to make them. They are the most comfortable shoes and chic slippers I've seen.

Velocite

Finally I found Acne Velocite jacket of my size. I was so stupid ordering it online in size 38. Had to return the item and hunt for the right size. Ended up in buying it in Harrods size 34. It keeps me warm in windy London days. Like that it looks over-sized and vintage. The weather was really tough these days. Rain and wind make you wanna die especially when you fail to find a cab and spend about 40 minutes in track of an free one.

Tchaikovsky+Cubism

David Koma's Spring/Summer 2011 collection was inspired by Russian Ballet and cubism art of Fernand Leger. He was born in Georgia, small country with huge heritage. Grew up in St. Petersburg and graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009 he achieved a significant success. David's art as I would call it  is very popular with celebrities.

Koma used black, shell-pink, lemon and gold colors this season. His cuts are amazing, his work is very individual and interesting. I like his artistic sight of woman who is very strong and contemporary. Very excited to see him grow professionally.
